Who we are

January 1, 2021 Nikaia Ice Cream will celebrate its 40th anniversary, always on the lookout for quality products!

The company was founded in 1981 to assist and to serve artisan ice cream parlours.
Located in Saint-Laurent-du-Var in the Alpes-Maritimes, not far from the Italian border, our warehouse of more than 400 m² in the middle of the Industrial Zone allows us to receive international transport trucks and load containers for export.

Experience & know-how

Our seniority in the business has enabled us to carefully select our suppliers. We have worked closely with several of them for many years and have seen them expand thanks to the popularity of Italian Gelato around the world. Our knowledge of the Italian language has obviously served us a lot.

We have set up our own ice cream parlours in the 1980s to better understand how to serve you and we continue to train together with our suppliers as well as with new ice cream parlours.

We have a vast experience in installing turnkey ice cream parlours – do not hesitate to ask for a quote!

We can advise you on, how to equip efficiently both your laboratory and your shop and prepare plans for all trades. We can guide you through the manufacturing, organization and staff management. Ice cream shops that we set up more than 30 years ago are still running as successfully as they were when they started up and presenting good sales figures.

We are the creators of the LGM – “Le Glacier Moderne” concept, which has been very successful, particularly on Reunion Island. The most recent ice cream shop opened in 2019 in Saint-André.
